Get on a Mailing List
Mailing lists or Listservs are a great way to get lots of information on many specific topics ranging from beer can collecting to vegetarian cooking. Listservs provide an alternative to chat rooms, bulletin boards and newsgroups.
Once you join a list, you will receive e-mails from other people interested in the same topic. List members share information with each other, answering each others questions and suggesting alternate methods of performing tasks.
There may also be a newsletter about the given topic. Some listservs offer the possibilty of starting your own list for a particular interest, group or even family communication.
