Masking
First is the image of Lauretta on Silly Hat Day with mask, inner bevel and drop shadow applied. The second and third images add backgrounds made from the image and scripts created for class last week.

I sponge-painted the lower portion of the walls when I decorated the room for a newborn Grace. In PSP, I used the eyedropper to pick up the colors form the wall, then I used the airbrush set to Marble2 as the sponge settings did not provide the desired effect.
