Banner made of layers.

These dogs are made of four layers all at 100% normal blend mode:

1. The dogs (made one, duplicated the layer, flipped it and merged the two layers)
2. The text
3. The gradient background
4. Promoted the background to a layer and added a solid violet layer behind it.

The gradient background was set to 65% normal blend mode. The text layer was set to 100% luminance blend mode.

Here I ventured in to the advanced area. I used an adjustment layer set to invert.

Here I used four layers:

1. Flower frame
2. Yellow fill behind the flowers
3. Photo of Lauretta.
4. Background same color as my page background.
